Part of the Mental Health Wellbeing Series This 90-minute interactive workshop is designed to inspire participants to embrace movement as an essential and enjoyable element of daily living. This workshop will explore the science behind exercise, the benefits of physical activity, and practical strategies to seamlessly incorporate movement into busy routines. Participants will leave equipped with knowledge, motivation, and personalised action plans to make movement a natural part of life.

  • Understand what Mental Health is

  • Understand how exercise and movement affect the brain 

  • Learn how much exercise is enough and how different forms of movement benefit the mind and body

  • Discover creative ways to integrate movement into everyday routines

  • Develop their own personal movement action plan

This 60-minute workshop is designed to inspire participants to strengthen their sense of belonging, foster meaningful relationships, and actively engage with their local communities. Through a blend of discussion, reflection, and actionable strategies, attendees will develop tools to deepen connections, understand the power of volunteering, and elevate their capacity to both give and receive social support.

  • Understand what social connection is and its impact on mental health

  • Develop strategies for building meaningful connections

  • Bring awareness to and learn how to overcome barriers to connection

  • Develop a personal action plan to build stronger social connections

Designing your Self-Care Plan for Everyday Wellbeing

Part of the Mental Health Wellbeing Series

This two-hour workshop is designed to guide participants in understanding, developing, and sustaining a personalised self-care plan that nurtures both mental and emotional well-being. Through interactive activities, reflective exercises, and group discussions, attendees will leave with tangible strategies and a tailored plan to support themselves beyond the workshop.

In this workshop, participants will:

  • Be able to define self-care and what that means for them

  • Identify personal stressors and ways to manage through self-care strategies

  • Explore the different dimensions of Self-Care

  • Identify personal self-care needs and barriers 

  • Design a self-care plan that is effective in improving mental wellbeing
